The drainage act needs a strong time line and consequences for failing to meet. I currently have a simple project to control road water running into my property however since the County does not want to pay the project is sitting idle for close to 5 years.

I'm concerned that wetland loss was not a topic in a discussion paper on the Drainage Act when it has been cited as a cause of wetland loss by former Environmental Commissioners.
