It is always being said that the amount of salt being used in the winter is being reduced to lower ground contamination. I have driven on more snow covered roads in the last 10 years than anytime previously in my life. I have now invested in winter tires and I am okay with all of that. Read more

I feel any possible threat to the safety of drinking water should err on the side of caution. You certainly don't want a Flint, Michigan type scenario here. While not the same in detail specifics, it would be a case of negligence and poor oversight.
