Multi-billion dollar corporations getting rich while getting almost free water, is NOT OKAY. We cannot sell our resources to companies, especially foreign companies, and allow them to profit at our own detriment. I can't even believe this needs to be said.

It is reprehensible for a corporation to steal and then profit from water that belongs to the Indigenous people. Especially since dozens of First Nations communities across Canada have not had access to safe drinking water for at least a year.

Water needs to be a human right, not a commodity for business profit. Please please please deny Blue Triton's request for a permit and demonstrate respect for our indigenous people who do not have good access to clean and healthy drinking water. In Canada! Shameful! Read more

I live in Ontario. I object strongly to Blue triton’s application. For environmental reasons fresh water should never be extracted for bottling and in this case granting the permit would violate the rights of local indigenous people. Read more

The water in Canada seems plentiful, but it isn't. To outsiders, it may seem like "a drop in the bucket" if we allow Triton Water to extract water from Ontario groundwater at very little cost, but monetary and environmental. Read more
