What many of us have feared for many years is actually happening. When others run out of clean water, they come and take ours. This country of ours has been treated like a smorgasbord of commodities from the beginning of colonization. Read more

Allowing Nestle to profit from taking water from lakes where the water is not renewable is an outrage. It would appear that we have tons of water at our disposal. However, many of Canada's lakes contain water that is not renewable. Ask any geologist. This must stop.

Stop the removal of indigenous water by BlueTriton.! Access to clean water is a universal right, and this company is taking it away from indigenous lands. Bottling water is a crime, and creates pollution in our environment. It’s wasteful, toxic and unethical. STOP this now!

IF we are going to allow bottle water takers like BlueTriton to take water from our systems at minimum they should be a realistic cost for that water, and/or have more significant limits on the amount of water pulled from our water systems

I do not want the government to give our water rights to a private company. Water is a human right, and giving it to a for profit company is wrong. These companies sell it back to us at insane profit prices, leave the taxpayers stuck with waste plastic , and provide no value to our citizens. Read more

The sneaky, back-handed transfer of water rights from Nestle to Blue Triton still does not disguise the fact that these water agreements are near to theft of Canada's water. If any such agreement is to be reached it MUST more equally benefit both parties.

This company Nestle has for too long been allowed to exploit our water resources in many communities, and made much profit doing it. They have left some areas with next to no water reserves while they line their pockets. This has to stop.
