I think it is absolutely absurd that we continue to sell public water to a greedy corporation who does not care about responsibility for earth, the water, or the creatures dependent on the health of the water. Water should be protected. Healthy water is a human right, and should be free.

We are very lucky in Canada - we hold a great deal of the world's freshwater resources. However, we have allowed multinational corporations (first Nestle, now BlueTriton) to profit from that resource in exchange for pennies. Read more

While many First Nations communities and other Ontario municipalities do not have access to safe drinking water for at least a year, Triton is pumping clean water from Indigenous lands and municipal wells and bottling it for profit. Triton is ignoring Indigenous sovereignty. Read more

Stop taking free ground water from our province then charging people for it and polluting the environment from the plastic bottles. Go do some r&d how to purify ocean water and be responsible for the disposable plastic your company produces and invest in infrastructure that recycles the bottles.
