Baiting is a blood sport that entails deliberately setting up frequently fatal fights between hunting dogs & wild animals.
Legislation needs to be introduced which makes hunting with dogs illegal in order to protect animals from gratuitous cruelty.

This is an abhorrent practice. Live animals do not need to be used to train hunting dogs. Rabbits, coyotes, and foxes should never be taken from their natural environments for the sole purpose of being tortured and killed.

Wildlife should never be taken from their natural environments and held captive by hunters. It’s especially cruel to use rabbits, coyotes, and foxes as pawns for hunters to train dogs and hold competitions. I don't agree with this at all.
Why would you think penned hunting is a good idea? Are men becoming so apathetic that they have to trap an animal to hunt it??? Grow some balls hunters!
I oppose the proposal by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry to grant new and transferable licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario. These areas are inhumane to the wild animals who are used as bait for dogs to learn how to hunt.

How is this beneficial to anyone?! I thought MNR was supposed to protect our wildlife not set them up in a no win situation where dogs are trained to hunt wildlife in an enclosed area where they cannot escape! This should be banned. Not encouraged! This is unacceptable. Barbaric.
