I vehemently disagree with this cruel act. This is unnecessary and opens the door to even more animal cruelty. There is absolutely no need for this and it just seems like some MPP has come up with a dumb idea that appeals to only a certain anti intellectual, redneck, convoy loving demographic.

This penning of wildlife to train hunting dogs is cruel and inhumane. As a citizen of Ontario, I do not support this proposal.
Instead, current licenses should be revoked and not allowed to continue.

Wow. Really stupid waste of tax dollars and a totally unethical program. How did this even get this far - the government is failing people in so many ways and you throw this on the heap.
Have we not progressed beyond these barbaric treatments of animals? Britain has all but eliminated fox hunts and Ontario is going to allow this kind of thing? No dog should be trained to this level of aggression. So disappointed.
I do not support dog train and trial areas. They are cruel and cowardly. Do not allow new ones. Shut down any existing ones. Such abusive programs are way beneath human dignity. We are better than that.
This is sickening! We have a German Shepherd working dog. The fact that your government would put an animal in captivity for her to hunt is absolutely unacceptable! This government is disgusting, disgraceful and inhumane! Shame on anyone thinking this is a good idea!

Using captive animals to to train dogs to trap and kill coyotes is a cruel inhumane practice that should be phased out, not condoned and expanded.

This proposal is sickening. Truly cruel and inhumane for all animals involved. The province should not allow this practice to continue or to be expanded.
This is an incredibly barbaric, cruel practice that I, an Ontario resident, do not support. I am concerned that we have people in leadership supporting the torture of animals.
