This land was made for you and me!!!! Rondeau was made with the idea for cottages ! And attracting tourism to the area. Chatham Kent will suffer greatly without that income of travellers to the cottages!! Americans come and spend their money here!!
I'm in favour of giving cottagers of Rondeau Park their two year extension with option to buy. I love those cottages and they are apart of Chatham Kent's history and Canada's cottage community

The fact that cottagers were there first and voted to make Rondeau a provincial park is enough to make me think you should be thanking them and protecting them like your fowler toad. Therefore I am in favour of the two year lease extension with the ability to buy the land
The 2 year lease plan should go ahead. This will provide any extra time needed to find a solution for permanent tenure for Rondeau cottages. The purchase plan proposed by Chatham-Kent should be reactivated.

I moved to Chatham-Kent in 1990. The issue of the Cottages in Rondeau Park has been ongoing since before I arrived and the leaseholders have have extension after extention. They must be removed from the Park.
