With respect to Bill 150, I strongly disagree with the approach of using legislation to undo major errors made by the Minister when issuing decisions with respect to Official Plans/Official Plan Amendments. Read more

The Town of Halton Hills unanimously supported modest urban expansion by town council resolution 2021-0159 July 6 & 13th. ( as did the Town of Milton) but were denied by Halton Region Council vote which was dominated by Oakville and Burlington. Read more

Please do not build on the greenbelt, on forests, or wetlands. Please do not make it easier for developers to destroy natural spaces. Developing on green space is also expensive, as new pipes, wires, and roads have to be put in. And rural areas are not accessible, nor do they have transit. Read more

I fully support the current Waterloo Regional Official Plan as submitted in August 2022. I do not support further changes to it.

For the purposes of how this ERO impacts York Region, I request that municipalities and region be provided with the extensions they have requested; 45 days is not sufficient to help rectify erroneous and improper changes to official plans that are years in the making and that took at least two years Read more
