As an organization, we have several concerns regarding the impacts of this project on our local waterways and watershed. This proposal has the potential to have huge effects on the health of the community, wildlife, and watershed, as well as negatively impacting nearby agricultural operations. Read more

I do not agree with a recycle plant nor a landfill in Dresden Ontario. It will be an eye sore. It may damage the environment and natural river system with endangered species. It may damage the water wells in the area and the number of trucks coming going may be as many as 700 per day. Read more

Regarding ERO 019-8205. This area needs an environmental assessment regarding waste already buried there. This area is close to Molly’s Creek and Sydenham River where species are at risk. This is a residential area and busy highway, close to the town of Dresden. Read more

This dump will ruin the town that we grew up in. This dump won't bring jobs of any meaningful number. But will bring pollution, traffic and smell. It is to large not to drastically affect Dresden. It will reduce property value, many are relying on to stay afloat. Read more

In regards to the company York1 submitted plan to re-open the long dormant dump from the Town of Dresden. It is my understanding that the original approval for this land plot to be used for land fill was issued in 1979. Read more
