Strongly oppose this expansion. This part of the province has rich farm land and should be used as such, not to hold waste that will likely be trucked in from urban areas.

This will be incredibly disruptive of our everyday life for so many reasons.

I’m a Dresden resident not far the proposed location, I do not want this landfill anywhere near the town of Dresden. The impacts to the air quality, the ground water quality, the increase in traffic through a small town 24/7 along with the noise pollution is a recipe for disaster.

This facility is way closer to the town of Dresden that is located only 1 km away. It is also surrounded by houses. I thought the minimum distance should atleast 2.5 Kms from communities. Plus the number of trucks carrying this load will be another big issue.

Dresden is Christmas town. It is full of spirit and charm. The last thing it needs is a large landfill site just outside of its “small town” limits. This will bring unwanted traffic, and pose safety risks for its residence.

Too bloody close to our town, which we have worked hard to make a nice place to live and welcome more families. We only have one bridge access straight through and (after the fiasco of the last shut down due to tree debris) it cannot afford to be clogged up by non-local traffic.

Dresden is in a watershed area of the Sydenham. There are many creeks that drain into the Sydenham. I drive by the landfills at Watford and at Shedden frequently and the smell can be sickening.
Toronto garbage needs to stay near Toronto.
