Water will be taken from one lake for golf course irrigation purposes at the Heron Point Golf Club, located at 2787 Dunmark Road in Alberton, Ontario. Details of proposed water taking are as follows:

  • maximum rate (litres per minute): 4,540
  • maximum number of Hours of taking per day: 24
  • maximum volume (litres) per day: 2,700,000

  • Category 3: water takings are anticipated to have the highest potential of causing unacceptable environmental impactor interference

The proposed water taking qualifies as a Category 1 permit.
