Proposal details

This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) No. A121030 issued to Walker Environmental Group Inc., a waste processing facility for processed organic waste that serves the Province of Ontario. The facility is on a site 0.81 hectares in area and is located at 3865 Thorold Townline Road, Thorold, Ontario.

The maximum waste received per day is 300 tonnes and the maximum on-site storage is 350 tonnes. The current hours of operation are from Monday to Saturday from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm for receiving waste and the processing of waste may occur 24 hours per day.

Approval is sought to amend the receiving hours to 5:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Sunday for contingency purposes such as traffic delays and giving customers more availability to deliver waste.
