2311215 Ontario Limited and 2311217 Ontario Limited - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) to be issued to 2311215 Ontario Limited and 2311217 Ontario Limited, for the establishment of sewage works, in support of a proposed expansion of the existing multi-unit storage facility; for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of stormwater run-off from a site located at 4155 Road 38, in Harrowsmith, Township of South Frontenac, Ontario.

The sewage works system will consist of a wet pond, complete with storm sewers, and ditches designed for quantity control; discharging into the Millhaven Creek Watershed, via a Road ditch. The end of pipe discharge from the pipe networks onsite will be treated with rip-rap to aid in reducing erosion and scouring of the pond base. The pond overflow outlet will also utilize rip-rap to aid in reducing erosion of the swale and pond berms. An Oil and Grit Separator unit will be installed downstream of the pond for quality control.
