A decision was made on April 26, 2024 to approve, with modifications, Official Plan Amendment № 2, as adopted by By-law 2022-26. The amendment updates the official plan in accordance with section 26 of the Planning Act, to reflect the Township's goals and objectives, and to ensure the plan aligns with current provincial land-use policies.

The Permit to Take Water No. 8085-D4CLGS was issued to Hamilton Golf and Country Club on May 1, 2024, for 5 years for commercial purposes to renew the permit 6406-AXVKFA. Water will be taken from four wells, one ponds, and Ancaster Creek related to golf course irrigation activities, located in the City of Hamilton, Ontario.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval for a waste processing site approved to receive, transfer and process waste alkaline batteries in Thorold, Ontario.

Approval is granted for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for 2752985 Ontario Inc. for the on-site stormwater management works to service proposed industrial building development with associated parking and driveways, located at 246 Waydom Drive in Ayr, Ontario.

Approval is granted for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for White Owl Properties Limited for the stormwater management works, to serve 2333 Cassell Drive, in the Township of Springwater, Ontario.

Approval was granted for an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 9495-BNTS3Y for Vuteq Canada Inc., a glass windshield, side window, rear window and instrument panel manufacturing facility, located at 885 Keyes Drive in the City of Woodstock, Ontario.

The ministry issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (wastewater) serving 7137796 Canada Inc., located at 2020 Bantree Road, Ontario, serving the proposed Benson Auto Parts Wearhouse facility and will consist of stormwater management works, and storm and sanitary sewers.

Approval was granted for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for ELECTRO-KLEEN ALLOY POLISHING LTD., a electropolishing facility, located at 2355 Tedlo Street, Mississauga, Ontario.

We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site-processing) to K2 Disposal Ltd. for the operation of a waste transfer facility receiving non-hazardous solid waste from industrial, commercial, and domestic sources, located at 1092 Bridge Street, Township of Wilmot, Ontario.

An amendment to the existing Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site - transfer) No. A620088 for Central Sanitation Inc. was issued for the use and operation of two Hauled Sewage Storage Lagoons with the total capacity of 11,360 cubic metres, located at 1980 Petrolia Line in St. Clair, Ontario.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued for the establishment of subsurface disposal works to service a residential dwelling, located at 795554 the Blue Mountains Clearview Townline on the Osler Bluff Ski Club property, located in The Blue Mountains, Ontario.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued to Waste Management of Canada Corporation for the Twin Creeks Environmental Centre, located at 5768 Nauvoo Road in Watford, Ontario.
