We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4066-CMTRGT for Formosa Springs Brewery 1870 Inc. on January 9, 2023, which cancels and replaces permit No. 2473-ARLJE5. Water will be taken from two wells for industrial purposes at a manufacturing facility located in Formosa, Ontario.

We have approved the land use policies in the Hearst Administrative District to facilitate the sale or lease of Crown land for agriculture purposes. These changes will increase opportunities for agriculture industries and will promote the agricultural economy within Northern Ontario.

We have issued a Permit to Take Water No. 6511-CM4KYR on January 12, 2023, which cancels and replaces Permit No. 0068-C2HS2E, for Walker Aggregates Inc. (Spring Creek Quarry). The permit holder requested an amendment to the conditions of their previous permit to allow for the extension of quarry extraction activities within 500 m of Spring Creek.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1190741453 for Dunsford Golf & Country Club Inc. for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from one pond and two wells, located in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. This new permit expires November 11, 2032.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval was issued to Humarcin Residents Organization for approval of upgrades to the existing sewage works, for the treatment and subsurface disposal of domestic sewage to service the existing year-around Evergreen Estates Trailer Park, located at 1622 Pioneer Road in the City of Greater Sudbury.
