Water will be taken from two sources in the Township of Severn, County of Simcoe, Ontario for 10 years.

This decision is to renew and consolidate Permit to Take Water Nos. 0572-B56KNR, 6225-B56PBA, 0586-B95JRF and 1441-B5DLD4 for Enbridge Pipelines Inc. for construction dewatering purposes in the Municipality of Clarington, Municipality of Port Hope, the Township of Hamilton, and the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand, Ontario.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-3166522825 on March 2, 2023, which cancels and replaces permit No. 7770-8JAPEA for DeCorso Enterprises Limited, in Puslinch, Ontario, for recreational golf course irrigation purposes. The new permit expires on February 28, 2031.

We have renewed Permit Number 1243-BMKPVH which replaces Permit To Take Water No. 7727-BBPHWB for remediation purposes at Gordon Lake.

Permit to Take Water No. 3718-D45MHS was issued to Dyno Nobel Canada Inc. on June 20, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 5853-9J9HNB for industrial manufacturing purposes. Water will be taken from one watercourse, the St. Lawrence River, located in the Township of Augusta, United Counties of Leeds-Grenville, Ontario for 10 years.

We decided to proceed with ending acetone reporting in Ontario. This will align us with the federal government and other provinces that have not required acetone release reporting since 1998 and reduce burden for business without compromising protection of human health and the environment.

This approval is for the establishment of stormwater management works for collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of stormwater run-off from a catchment area of the Exhibition Ground Development.
