We issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) to Larsen and Shaw Limited, a hinge manufacturing facility located in the Municipality of Brockton, County of Bruce.
The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-25-00041 to 5051318 Ontario Corp., for early exploration activities.
The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.
Ontario has changed restrictions on the transfer and storage of winter-grade gasoline prior to the winter switchover date by amending O. Reg. 271/91 (Gasoline Volatility). We have also added clarifications about acceptable gasoline testing methods.
On July 7, 2023, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 189/23 (O. Reg.). The City of Peterborough requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.
We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 2541-BPMLDJ on May 15, 2020 which cancels and replaces Permit To Take Water No. 8152-9KPQJH for Oslerbrook 2014 Inc., for commercial purposes for golf course irrigation located in Clearview, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of December 31, 2022.
The 2022 Annual Report from the Committee on the Status of Species at Risk in Ontario (COSSARO) to the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks is now available on Ontario.ca. The report includes COSSARO’s assessments and resulting classifications of species in accordance with the Endangered Species Act, 2007.
