An aggregate licence was issued to Dufferin Aggregates to make changes to the conditions of their licence to operate the Flamboro Quarry.  The annual tonnage is 3.5 million tonnes and the licenced site operates in Township of West Flamborough, City of Hamilton.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was granted for the establishment of seasonal subsurface sewage disposal works rated at 45,325 L/day, to service a trailer park located at 4304 Champlain Road, in the City of Clarence-Rockland.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (Waste Processing Site) has been granted for J.W. Seward Enterprises Ltd.

Application 60-C-246569, to create a new 1.56 hectare waterfront lot to be used for resource-based recreational use, was approved as redlined by the Ministry, subject to conditions. Related applications 60-C-232065 (ERO 019-9227) and 60-C-246449 (ERO 019-9248) were also approved subject to conditions. 

This new Environmental Compliance Approval (Industrial Sewage) is for Bry-ain Holdings Inc., for the establishment of stormwater management works consisting of grassed swales and infiltration trenches, discharging to Huntley Creek, to service a proposed office/repair garage development located at 2688 Carp Road in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval (Air and Noise) has been issued to Miller Paving Limited, for a hot mix asphalt plant located in Norwood, Ontario.

The ministry is moving forward with regulatory amendments to streamline environmental permissions for water taking activities necessary to meet the province’s growing needs for critical infrastructure and housing development. These changes will help get important projects built faster while maintaining environmental protection.

The Plan of Subdivision for 12 recreational lots on lands adjacent to Munro Lake, Munro unincorporated township, Cochrane District was redlined and granted approval subject to conditions on September 1, 2021. The last date to appeal the decision is September 21, 2021.

Approval was granted for the establishment of stormwater management (SWM) works to service an existing gas station located at 448 Talbot Street West in Lemington, Ontario.

Approval is granted for industrial stormwater management serving Doug Chalmers Inc., located at 6802 Highway 89 in the Municipality of West Grey. The stormwater management works comprise of two on-site oil/grit separators and will discharge to an existing storm sewer located at the site.

This Application 60-C-189899 for Consent was given conditional approval on February 7, 2019 and was amended on January 10, 2020. The last day to appeal this decision under the Planning Act is January 30, 2020.

An Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued to 1260261 Ontario Inc., located in Chapleau, Ontario. The facility is a repair garage for logging equipment. This approval is for two (2) waste oil heaters, six (6) waste oil storage tanks, and welding operations.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (Sewage) was granted to Gemstone Developments Ltd.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on July 15, 2021 in respect of Application 54-C-207686 to create an easement for the purposes of access across PIN 61266-0116 in favour of PIN 61266-0117, in Sharpe unincorporated township, Timiskaming District. The last day this decision can be appealed is August 4, 2021.

The York Region Wastewater Act, 2021, was initially proposed as Bill 306. Bill 306 died on the Order Paper when the Legislature was prorogued on September 3, 2021. As a result, we are not moving forward with this proposal and no decision will be made in respect of Bill 306. This notice is to advise that the proposal is closed.

An Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air & Noise) has been granted to Rosscomm Holdings Ltd., a hot-mix asphalt plant, located at 10 Freshway Drive, Vaughan, Ontario.
