The ministry issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 5462-CL7REX on November 18, 2022, to St. Mary’s Cement Inc. (Canada) for aggregate washing and concrete production purposes. The permitted water taking will serve the CBM Aggregates Brantford Pit in the County of Brant, Ontario. The new permit expires on November 19, 2032.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to Stelco Inc. in Hamilton to permit the receipt and treatment of wastewater from other industrial generators at their existing industrial wastewater treatment facility, which is currently approved to treat wastewater from Stelco's own industrial processes.

A provisional consent was granted subject to conditions on February 10, 2021. The last date to appeal the decision is March 2, 2021.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 6800-CREKJH was issued to Fernbrook Homes (Milton GO) Construction Limited on May 10, 2023 for 2.5 years. Water will be taken from one groundwater source for construction dewatering to support a proposed residential development, located in Milton, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted in respect of Application 60-C-183326 for the creation of one (1) new resource-based recreational lot for land described as PIN 42180-1017, Minaki Area, Unincorporated Territory, District of Kenora.

Exploration Permit was issued by the Director of Exploration. The Exploration Permit is valid for three (3) years from the date of issue.
