Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on December 19, 2022 for the creation of one new resource-based recreational lot on lands in Tudhope unincorporated township, District of Timiskaming. A Notice of Change, dated December 17, 2024, has corrected and clarified the standard conditions.

Donald W. Carss application for a licence to remove aggregate from a new pit in the City of Ottawa has been issued.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted in respect of Application 58-C-189386 for the creation of one (1) new resource-based recreational lot for land described as PIN 62279-9513 and PIN 62279-9515, Whitefish Lake, Unincorporated Township of Hardwick & Jean, District of Thunder Bay.

We have finalized a Guide which will help municipalities and climate change practitioners to complete greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories and develop community emissions reduction plans. The Guide supports actions on climate change, energy planning, the Growth Plan, 2017 policies, and Ontario's Five-Year Climate Change Action Plan, 2016-2020. 

The Minister has issued an overall benefit permit under the Endangered Species Act, 2007 to King City East (North) Landowners Group Inc. for construction work that will adversely impact Redside Dace and its habitat. The permit includes actions to minimize adverse effects, actions to benefit the species, and monitoring and reporting requirements.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on November 28, 2023 regarding application 54-C-229762 for the creation of one new lot on Doggit Rd. from Lot 1 Concession 1 and Part Lot 2 Concession 1 in Robillard unincorporated township, District of Timiskaming. This decision can be appealed until December 18, 2023.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on February 25, 2020 in respect of Application 54-C-196366 to register an easement over PIN 61315-0273 to access lands described as PIN 61315-0153, Henwood unincorporated township, District of Timiskaming. The last day this decision can be appealed is March 16, 2020.

We finalized the amended and restated Operating Agreement between the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks and the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority. The amendments will help ensure transparent and effective oversight for Ontario’s producer responsibility model and will address necessary administrative changes.

The permit includes actions to minimize adverse effects and benefit the species, as well as monitoring and reporting requirements.

The ministry issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval to Sun-Brite Foods Inc. for sewage works for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of treated process effluent, non-contact cooling water and stormwater runoff, serving a food processing facility located in the Town of Kingsville.

This decision is for a new Permit to Take Water for 2706913 Ontario Inc. for construction dewatering to facilitate construction at the Cedar Crescent Village development, located at 122 Elgin St., Saugeen Shores, Ontario. The permit, No. 4582-CKGU5H was issued on November 8, 2022, with an expiry date of December 31, 2023.

Formerly Jackson Harvest Farms Ltd., now Esbaugh Management Group Ltd., was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Township of Wilmot.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on August 22, 2019 for Application 52-C-180496 for a lot addition from PIN 73097-0063 (severed) to PIN 73097-0033 (benefitting) in the geographic township of Gallagher, District of Sudbury.  The last day this decision can be appealed is September 11, 2019.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on January 30, 2020 in respect of Application 56-C-191722 for the creation of one new resource-based recreation lot on lands described as PIN 65062-0028, Township of Opasatika, District of Cochrane. The last day this decision can be appealed is February 19, 2020.

This Application 60-C-140642 for Consent was given conditional approval on June 14, 2019 and was amended on June 12, 2020.  The last day to appeal this decision under the Planning Act is July 2, 2020.
