Official Plan Amendment 62 implements Strategic Growth Area land use planning framework for three Protected Major Transit Stations: Block Line, Fairway, and Sportsworld.

Bill 215: Main Street Recovery Act, 2020 made changes to the Municipal Act, 2001 and City of Toronto Act, 2006. The Greenbelt Statute Law Amendment Act, 2023 that includes Schedule 1 - the Duffins Rouge Agricultural Preserve Act ,2023 (DRAPA, 2023), came into effect on December 6, 2023. DRAPA, 2023 reinstates the legal protections of the easements and covenants applicable to the lands within the Duffins Rouge Agricultural Preserve.
The proposed amendments to the Crown Forest Sustainability Act, 1994 (CFSA) are intended to reduce administrative burden and make approvals more efficient.
