On December 18, 2020 the ministry issued an exploration permit located approximately 35 kilometres northeast of Whitesand First Nation, Ontario, in Ratte Lake Area, District of Thunder Bay,North West Region.
We amended the Renewable Energy Approval for the Jericho Wind Energy Centre to confirm joint ownership of the existing Parkhill Interconnect by Cedar Point II LP, Jericho Wind LP, Bornish Wind LP, and Kerwood Wind LP; and joint ownership of the Jericho transmission facilities by Cedar Point II LP.
We are seeking input and additional scientific information, including traditional ecological knowledge and community knowledge, from the public and Indigenous communities on a draft Recovery Strategy for the Spoon-leaved Moss in Ontario. The information we receive will be considered in finalizing the recovery strategy for this species at risk.
