The Ministry has revised the Northwest GTA Transmission Corridor’s Narrowed Area of Interest (NAI) following further technical study. The changes preserve a technically viable corridor for future transmission infrastructure adjacent to Highway 413 and reduce land use impacts, particularly in the Heritage Heights area of Brampton.
The ministry issued a Certificate of Property Use to TSP Canada Towers Inc. on April 21, 2021 outlining the risk management measures as outlined in the risk assessment for the site at 100 Hayes Road in Thorold.
