We have approved the renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 3615-79ULJX for Grand Valley Golf and Country Club Incorporated, related to golf course irrigation activities, in the Township of North Dumfries, Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Ontario.

The government has made legislative changes to the Planning Act, City of Toronto Act, 2006, Building Code Act, 1992 and Municipal Act, 2001 through Bill 98, the Building Homes and Improving Transportation Infrastructure Act, 2026.

Provisional consent granted subject to conditions on August 12, 2021. The last date to appeal the decision is September 1, 2021.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 5056-BNNNBM has been issued to Equinelle Developments Inc. on April 30, 2020, for taking water from one (1) river and one (1) pond for golf course irrigation purposes, located in North Grenville, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of April 23, 2030.

This decision is to renew Permit to Take Water for 2151738 Ontario Inc. Under Permit No. 7501-CF8R2D, issued July 5, 2022 for 10 years, water will be taken from one pond and one well for golf course irrigation at the Listowel Golf Club, located in Listowel, Municipality of North Perth, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 5636-DEVN8C was issued to Dundas Valley Golf and Curling Club on April 14, 2025. Water will be taken from one well and one pond for golf course irrigation purposes, located in the Town of Dundas, Ontario.

This decision is for a new Permit to Take Water for Zorway Development Limited for construction dewatering and foundation drainage purposes. Permit No. 8078-BX8MWQ was issued on January 29, 2021 for a period of 10 years.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 3101-CEXNTW for 883890 Ontario Limited was issued on June 1, 2022 for golf course irrigation purposes in the Township of Centre Wellington, County of Wellington, Ontario.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4562-CGNMAA on July 27, 2022 which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No.5536-8ZLRHB1 for Stonehouse Golf Management Inc. Water will be taken from one (1) well and one (1) lake to irrigate a golf course and provide water supply to a clubhouse, located in the Township of Duro-Dummer, Ontario.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 0024-BNBNB4 on April 15, 2020, which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 6636-B2JQ58 for Tamarac Golf & Country Club 2018 Inc. located in Ennismore, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of April 14, 2030.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 5284-BMKL9W on Mar 19, 2020, which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 6231-832RMG, for Lafarge Canada Inc. located in Ottawa, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of March 30, 2030.

Provisional consent was granted with modifications on December 9, 2021 in respect of Application 58-C-206652 for the creation of one new lot for commercial recreational use on lands described as PIN 62505-1466, in unsurveyed territory, in the District of Thunder Bay. The last day this decision can be appealed is December 29, 2021.

Permit to Take Water No. 1775-DHLMHY was issued on March 31, 2026 to Amrize Canada Inc. (formerly named Lafarge Canada Inc.). This PTTW amends PTTW No. 2718-7S3RM7 to include: two new water sources - the Quarry Sump and on-site supply well, a new expiry date, and conditions governing the taking of water from the two new water sources.

We have amended Ontario Regulation 1/17 to set consistent site-specific sound level limits for a certain area around Salit Steel’s Niagara Falls facility.
