The ministry issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to 591182 Ontario Limited for sewage works for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of up to approximately 1,000 L/day of treated wastewater, generated at the Wolverine Freight System site, located at 56 Niagara Stone Road, Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Municipality of Niagara.

This decision is to renew and consolidate three Permits to Take Water issued to Enbridge Pipelines Inc. for construction dewatering purposes within Southern Ontario. Permit No. 8835-C9QM9H was issued on January 27, 2022 with an expiry of December 31, 2031.

AAROC Aggregates Ltd was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit below water in the Municipality of Thames Centre.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow Owen Sound Ledgerock Ltd. to extract below the water table in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, Bruce County.

The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (municipal and private sewage) for Ceva Animal Health Inc. for wastewater infrastructure works and stormwater management works, serving Ceva Animal Health, located in the City of Guelph, Ontario.

We have issued an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval No. 2293-5JRQBF for the inclusion of seven existing subsurface disposal sewage works, and proposed replacement and expanded subsurface disposal sewage works, to service a seasonal campground located at 2310 Concession Road 12, Township of Huron-Kinloss, County of Bruce.

We have granted the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 6132-8U5HZH for Vale Canada Limited for Gertrude Pits, a nickel and copper ore open pit mine located in Lively, City of Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

The ministry issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to Maple Leaf Marinas Holdings GP Inc. for upgrades to the existing sewage works for the treatment and subsurface disposal of domestic sewage, serving the existing Wye Heritage Marina located in the Township of Tay, County of Simcoe, Ontario.

Approval is granted for the establishment of sewage works consist of storm sewers, a dry pond, an oil/grit separator and stormwater outlet pipe dischargeing stormwater runoff from a portion of the northeast corner of the KNL Stage site to the existing Kizell Creek.

Certificate of Property Use No. 8575-CVDNVA was issued on March 6, 2024, to ABNA Investments Ltd.. for 9 North Street, Kingston. The CPU will ensure the safe development of the property for commercial/industrial use should it be developed in the future.

Permit to Take Water No. 6225-B56PBA was issued, which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 3305-A3AN3C. The permit was issued on December 5, 2018 with an expiry date of October 31, 2021.

A Certificate of Property Use was issued to Arriscraft Canada Inc. for the property located at 805 Speedsville Road, Cambridge, on January 4, 2023.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow Cedarwell Excavating Ltd. to increase the number of tonnes of aggregate to be removed annually for Licence No. 5007, operating in the Municipality of West Grey, County of Grey.

A decision was made on March 24, 2026 to approve City of Mississauga Official Plan 2051, as adopted by By-law 0069-2025, with 44 modifications. A decision on the Official Plan as it applies to the lands at 1403–1425 Dundas Street East has been withheld and will be made at a future date.

The new Official Plan for the Sudbury East Planning Area, as adopted in April, 2023, was approved subject to 21 modifications on July 15, 2025.  

Application 60-C-257247 was approved on November 14, 2025, subject to conditions.  The last date to appeal the decision under the Planning Act is December 4, 2025.

Lavis Contracting Co. Limited’s application for a licence to remove aggregate from a new pit in the County of Huron has been approved.

An amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 0303-9G8RUY has been granted to Lake Shore Gold Corp. for their precious metals extraction, crushing and refining facility in the City of Timmins, Ontario.
