The amending regulations to the Building Code, O. Reg. 139/17, was filed on May 17, 2017 and O. Reg. 88/19, was filed on May 2, 2019. We are proposing the removal of approximately 17 hectares of land from Beekahncheekahmeeng Deebahncheekayweehn Eenahohnahnuhn. Removing these lands would support their proposed transfer, together with 321.5 hectares of adjacent Crown land, to Canada as requested by Pikangikum First Nation for addition to their reserve.
