The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-25-000090 to SRC Agrominerals Inc. for early exploration activities.

The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.

On February 28, 2024, Ontario filed the regulatory amendments to O. Reg. 160/99 and O. Reg. 610/98 under the Electricity Act, 1998 to streamline the regulatory framework related to the appointments of directors to the Independent Electricity System Operator’s (IESO) board and to provide clarity on conflicts of interest rules.

Bell Sand Farms Inc. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Township of Perth East.

We updated the Protocol of Accepted Drinking Water Testing Methods and Practices for the Collection and Handling of Drinking Water Samples documents to reflect advances in drinking water testing methods as well as current industry knowledge and practices for use by drinking water testing laboratories and system owners and operators.

St. Joseph's Kingsbridge Community was not able to provide all required supporting information. Therefore, the ministry could not complete its review of their application for an Environmental Compliance Approval. The application is considered withdrawn and no approval was issued.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the Aurcrest Gold Inc. exploration permit application PR-20-000213 for early exploration located approximately 120 north of Lac Seul First Nation in the Casummit Lake Area and Brownstone Lake Area, District of Kenora, Northwest Region.
