Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1323326638 was issued to African Lion Safari & Game Farm Ltd. on April 8, 2025. Water will be taken from one well for wildlife park water supply purposes, located in the City of Hamilton, Ontario.

The ministry issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4512-CCMNED to The Sarjeant Company Limited (Sarjeant) on June 15, 2022 and expiring on June 15, 2027. Water will be taken primarily for aggregate washing purposes in the Township of Tiny. The ministry has approved one out of the two sources applied for. Details regarding the taking are below.

Valeri Construction Limited, for the establishment of sewage works, in support of a proposed Valeri Business Park Subdivision in the City of Hamilton, for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of stormwater run-off.

We have issued a new multi-site Environmental Compliance Approval (geothermal) for 2068929 Ontario Inc., operating as Buchanan & Hall, to install vertical closed loop geothermal systems. Buchanan & Hall operates across Ontario drilling boreholes and installing closed loop geothermal heat exchangers in these boreholes.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) has been granted to Canroof Corporation Inc., an asphalt roofing shingle manufacturing facility and manufacturer of organic felt and fibreglass shingles located in the City of Toronto, Ontario.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (waste site) 19-NOR-97288 for Northern Disposal and Sanitation was issued on March 11, 2020 for a hauled sewage site in Emsdale, within the Township of Perry.

An Environmental Compliance Approval with the Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise) has been granted to to Meridian Lightweight Technologies Inc., a magnesium auto parts manufacturing facility located in Strathroy-Cardoc, Ontario.

We approved a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Sewage) No. 1648-BF8P74 to Gordon Scadding Developments Limited for a proposed condominium townhome and retirement residence complex.

We have issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) No. 9256-7PKJQH to Hornepayne Power Inc., for the update of total site capacity, reclamation of wood waste, and changes to the monitoring program for the Woodwaste Disposal Site located at Hornepayne, Ontario.

The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) for municipal and private stormwater management works as well as municipal sanitary sewage works servicing the proposed Bevel Line Subdivision, located at 477 Bevel Line, in the Municipality of Leamington.
