The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval to Hydro One Networks Inc. for industrial stormwater management works serving the Russell Transmission Station located at 1731 Russell Road, in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent to create one new lot for agricultural uses was granted on April 12, 2023, subject to conditions.

Concurrent with the decision to amalgamate licence No. 2129, No. 2130 and No. 2136, approval was granted to amend the consolidated site plan to create a more cohesive operational and rehabilitation plan for amalgamated licence No. 2129.

We have issued a benefit permit to Conmar Developments Inc. and Fenlands Vaughan Inc. to develop a commercial facility which will impact Redside Dace habitat. The permit includes actions to benefit the species, minimize adverse effects, and outlines monitoring and reporting requirements.

Approval was granted for a licence amendment to allow Carmeuse Lime (Canada) Limited to amalgamate Licence No. 2129 with Licence No. 2130 and No. 2136 under the reference number of ARA Licence No. 2129. Approval was also granted to vary the tonnage condition for the amalgamated ARA license No. 2129.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent to transfer a portion of land to a neighbouring property owner was granted on October 18, 2024, subject to conditions.

The Minister has issued an overall benefit permit to North Pickering Community Management Inc. for construction activities in Pickering, Ontario which will impact Redside Dace and its habitat. The permit includes actions to minimize adverse effects, actions to benefit the species, as well as monitoring and reporting requirements.

Brant Aggregates Ltd. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a quarry in the County of Haldimand.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR

The decision is to Issue.

We have granted approval to ESCO Limited, located in Port Hope, Ontario, to amend their existing registration under the Technical Standards Registry – Air Pollution (Technical Standards Registry). This facility will adhere to all technical and operational requirements in the Foundries – Industry Standard under the Local Air Quality Regulation.

The exploration permits were issued and are valid for a period of 3 years.

On December 18, 2020 the ministry issued an exploration permit located approximately 35 kilometres northeast of Whitesand First Nation, Ontario, in Ratte Lake Area, District of Thunder Bay,North West Region.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the EMX Properties (Canada) Ltd., McVicar F Project exploration permit application PR-21-000083 to undertake early exploration activities. The location of the activities is approximately 60 kilometres SW of Cat Lake First Nation Ontario
