The Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1024064615 was issued to Stonerise Construction Inc. on July 11, 2024. Water will be taken from six wells for construction dewatering purposes at the Barrel Yards construction project site, located at 110 Erb Street West in Waterloo, Ontario.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-9138967690 on April 28, 2022 which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 5453-8VAGJD for Glengarry Golf & Country Club Limited for golf course irrigation and water supply purposes located in North Glengarry, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of April 26, 2032

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-22-000154 to Gordon Salo for early exploration activities.

The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.

An amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 8-2090-79-806 has been issued to Coco Paving Inc. for a hot-mix asphalt plant located at 595 Oak Park Road in the City of Brantford, County of Brant, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-5335755583 has been issued to 2253667 ONTARIO LIMITED for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from two ponds, located in Port Stanley, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 6150-DJ7KC4 has been issued to 336101 Ontario Limited renewing PTTW No. 6222-9FBJFC for industrial aggregate washing purposes. Water will be taken from one pond, located on Kam Current Road in the Township of Gorham, District of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1336111714 has been issued to Camp Muskoka Corporation for campground water supply purposes. Water will be taken from three wells located in the Town of Bracebridge, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 1555-DGKR2M was issued to Port Dover Golf Club Limited on May 23, 2025. Water will be taken from one pond and one watercourse for golf course irrigation purposes, located in Norfolk County, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 5514-D8ULVF was issued to 2065342 Ontario Inc. on November 26, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 2665-BMUPUV for industrial operations of aggregate washing and dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from one pond located in the Township of North Frontenac, Ontario for 10 years.

The Permit to Take Water No. 3128-ATLJQE was issued to 2113185 Ontario Limited on March 12, 2024 for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from one creek and one pond, located in Norwich, County of Oxford, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1222748758 was issued to TSMJC Properties Inc. on January 12, 2024, to renew Permit No. 0760-AKFR4A. Water is being taken from two wells for building maintenance dewatering in the Town of Richmond Hill for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 0445-DKPL3Z was issued on August 21, 2025, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 7457-D7GQDW for the purpose of aggregate washing and dust suppression. Water will be taken from one wash pond, for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 5210-BTWNQA was issued to Imperial Oil Limited. Water will be taken for construction dewatering purposes.

The application for an amended Environmental Compliance Approval has been withdrawn. No approval has been issued.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is proceeding with amendments to Ontario Regulation 73/23. The amendments will:

1. Expand the list of municipalities to which the regulation applies.
2. Improve the quality, completeness, and utility of the information reported. 
3. Require municipalities to make public a summary of the data reported.
