The application for an amended Environmental Compliance Approval has been withdrawn. No approval has been issued.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is proceeding with amendments to Ontario Regulation 73/23. The amendments will:

1. Expand the list of municipalities to which the regulation applies.
2. Improve the quality, completeness, and utility of the information reported. 
3. Require municipalities to make public a summary of the data reported.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 7407-CALSAB on February 10, 2022, which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 7314-B5DNY9 for Enbridge Pipelines Inc. for construction dewatering purposes located in the County of Hastings and County of Northumberland, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of December 31, 2032

A new Permit to Take Water No. 8368-BP3TUT was issued to Executive Fairways Golf Centre (Guelph) Limited. Water will be taken for golf course irrigation purposes.

Permit to Take Water No. 6770-DJLP6A was issued to The Greens at Renton Ltd. on July 17, 2025. Water will be taken from one pond and two wells for golf course irrigation and water supply purposes, located in Norfolk County, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1302553918 has been issued to Evolution Mining Gold Operations Ltd., renewing Permit to Take Water No. 5361-DHCHK9 for gold mining and milling operations within the boundaries of the Campbell Site and/or Red Lake Site, located in the Town of Red Lake, District of Kenora, Ontario.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-22-000153 to Gordon Salo for early exploration activities.

The decision is to issue the mineral exploration.

This decision is to renew Permit To Take Water No. 0682-8SENJL for Clublink Corporation ULC. Water will be taken from two wells for golf course irrigation purposes in Gormley, Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario. Permit To Take Water 8127-C8STQH issued on November 19, 2021.

This was for a Permit to Take Water issued to Rohit at Carling Ltd. under Permit No. P-300-6266089579 issued for 3 years. Water will be taken for construction dewatering purposes at 3430 Carling Avenue in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.

We renewed the Permit to Take Water No. 5087-AJUKTU for Goldcorp Canada Ltd. Water will be taken from two intake watercourses for other dewatering and industrial purposes, located in the City of Timmins, Ontario.

The ministry has cancelled the application due to incomplete information. No permit was issued.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-6158747377 on June 28, 2022 for Tribute (Simcoe Street) Limited. Water will be taken from one well for the purpose of construction dewatering located in the Town of Whitby, Ontario. The new permit expires on December 31, 2023.

On October 24, 2005, Ontario filed the regulation (O. Reg. 541/05: Net Metering), which came into force on January 23, 2006. No comments were received on the posting of the proposed regulation.

Bernt Gilbertson Enterprises Limited has requested to withdraw their application for amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval No. 9624-79RSC4 (Air & Noise) for the operation of a mobile crushing plant.

This decision is for the renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 8035-8U5P7F for Gott Enterprises Inc. and is for water bottling purposes. The new permit No. 3568-CJGH8C was issued on Friday, September 30, 2022 with an expiry date of September 30, 2032.

We are developing a management approach for the Lake Superior Coast Range and Discontinuous Distribution, which will identify and describe Ontario’s approach for boreal caribou conservation and recovery in this area.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 0334-CN8VAQ on January 23, 2023 to Mattamy (Fairwinds) Limited. Water will be taken from three ponds for the purpose of construction dewatering, located in the City of Ottawa, Ontario. The new permit expires on January 20, 2026.

A Permit to Take Water No. 7727-CJQTNG was issued to 5017679 Ontario Inc. on October 26, 2022 as a renewal of permit No. 5643-8W9QD5 for a period of two years. Water will be taken from three wells for commercial purposes, located in the Township of Uxbridge, Ontario.

The Permit to Take Water No. P-300-9109714420 (V3.0) was issued to Cambridge Aggregates Inc. on August 6, 2024, to amend the permit P-300-9109714420 (V2.0). Water will be taken from four wells for aggregate washing purposes, located in the City of Cambridge, Ontario.
