Norfolk should be at the very bottom of any list for development in this province for a multitude of reasons, all of which we already know. There is no demonstrated benefit to the current constituent, and in fact it only serves to lower our living standard by placing further pressures on our already fragile and failing set of services and infrastructures. Rarely are the promised benefits realized in the dozens upon dozens of other communities that have already sold their souls to development, with the exception of a token park or community center built to minimum cost, 'gifts' for which us taxpayers are always left holding the bag. Do we want to save the planet, or trash the planet? We can only do one, and paving over more of our county isn't it.
