In reference to lines 49-52: Wildlife Preservation Canada has 36 observations of the Suckley's cuckoo bumble bee from 2018-2019. Observations were recorded in Heron Bay, Levack, Nipigon, Rossport, Sault Ste Marie, and Thunder Bay. All obersvations were reported to NHIC however, photos were not taken to confirm the identifications.
In reference to lines 62-65: Wildlife Preservation Canada has been monitoring the Yellow-banded bumble bee in Ontario each year since 2012. Between 2012 and 2024 we have 845 observations ranging from the GTA, Huntsville area, Sudbury and surrounding areas, Sault Ste Marie, Thunder bay and surrounding areas, and as far west as Dryden (See map attached). All of these observations have been submitted to NHIC however we are happy to supply more details as needed. Additionally, the website BumbleBeeWatch.org has 334 recorded observations of the Yellow-banded bumble bee from 2013-2024. All of these observations have been verified by experts with a map of locations found on the website (linked within supporting links).
