I am fully in support with what has been proposed. Coming from a rural area of Northern Ontario, our communities experience some of the highest levels of energy poverty in the province. With an emphasis on affordability, these EE programs can help put money back in our residents pockets and elevate some of the other socioeconomic stressors they are facing.

Additionally, I like the aspect of involving LDCs and implementing localized EE programs to target the unique challenges we face in our region. I believe this will help address some of the participation barriers some community members face in provincial-wide EE programs.
