The proposed changes are DETRIMENTAL to affordable housing. Especially the proposed change to override FSI requirements. We have seen, lived and experienced the dramatic escalation in housing prices when modest decent starter homes are demolished for monster homes. Who benefits?? The builder obviously. And NO ONE ELSE. I am opposed to proposed changes to building distance separation and maximum lot coverage - they are detrimental to livable neighbhourhoods, affordable housing, and climate resilience.
