The passing of Bill 4 will be detrimental to the well-being of the residents of Ontario for generations. Global warming is already causing extreme weather events such as wildfires, flooding and crop damage in Ontario and this will only get worse.

The economic impacts of these extreme weather events will be severe and the government of Ontario should be working to minimize the devastation. Rather than allowing pollution to continue and increase, we should be focusing on producing clean energy and cutting our emissions. Instead, your plan will cause the loss of jobs in the renewable energy sectors and stop new clean-energy companies from locating in Ontario. Once again our lack of foresight will cause Ontario's economy to suffer.

Finally, you are starting to sound like the Liberals with their "gas" plant cancellations. Ontario taxpayers will be on the hook for compensation owed to more companies for the cancellation of the cap and trade program.
