Aladaco Consulting Inc. recommends the following enhancements to Ontario’s 2025–2036 Electricity Energy Efficiency Framework:
Fractional Energy Managers (FEMs): Introduce FEMs to provide part-time energy management services for organizations that cannot support a full-time energy manager, thereby expanding access to energy efficiency expertise.
Flexible Outreach for LDCs: Allowing LDCs to partner with third-party providers for customer engagement would improve outreach efficiency without expanding internal resources.
Targeted Industrial Support: Provide specialized third-party assistance to industrial facilities, addressing complex energy demands and supporting successful participation in energy efficiency programs.
Aladaco believes these recommendations will enhance framework accessibility and effectiveness across Ontario.
