The idea of letting corporate interests to come over that of community's (and community corporations ) is an unsound idea. It leaves these areas at the mercy of greed and exploitation and in times of drought worse than that.
The idea that companies like Nestlie can despoil and damage the water table has gone on long enough. There have been occasions where residents have come to depend on bottled water as the companies have ruined the water supply in their areas. Long term effects and the possible recovery of areas are unknown and may simply may never occur in some areas. The unnatural reduction of water and high demand can create air pockets and make the ground unstable, cause sink holes and other unforseen damage.
Simply put. It's a bad idea.
