I am very concerned about the selling of water to corporations that stand to make enormous profit while the residents who need the groundwater suffer shortages - especially the residents of Guelph, Wellington County and the Grand River Watershed. It is morally wrong. It is environmentally wrong - more creatures than just humans suffer. It further puts money into a small group of super-wealthy individuals while others suffer - a consideration too often put aside for the economic gain and power held by those wealthy individuals. Democracy suffers. Please extend this moratorium and deeply study the issue so that all my benefit.
