On behalf of the FMZ10 council , i would like to express some concerns we have . This is, by no means ,a complete list ...rather what the FMZ 10 council agreed to as a group . The list is in no particular order . - Concern that the consumer will confuse 'BMZ and ' FMZ ' .

- Whatever rules are placed / proposed , ' enforcement ' should be consulted to a greater extent . They should be consulted before rules are proposed , for their input .

- Whatever rules are implemented : they should be as simple as possible ( not confusing ).

- Whatever rules are implemented : education of the new rule should be a priority .

- Education regarding ' invasive species ' and ' movement of fish ' should be given top priority. - Manitoulin Island , given this designation , will be very confusing . Movement of bait will continue to the Island and movement of bait will continue on the Island and these new rules will be hard to enforce . - 'Documentation for personal harvesting ' is a vague and confusing statement .

- The proposed rules for personal harvesting is vague and confusing . And unenforceable .

- Keeping receipts for live bait : is two weeks too long ? Is this the right way to keep track of purchases ? - the number of brook trout lakes has increased from 649 to 1243 . There needs to be a very clear system to communicate to the consumer which lakes are brook trout lakes .

- First Nations must be consulted .

- First Nations should be consulted on bans of live bait . If any ban is to be successful , the ban should be universal .?

- The new bait proposal on the EBR posting looks incomplete ....almost , like it was submitted before all details were done . And , it is hard to form an opinion until those details are ironed out .

Thank you ,
