It's clear: Our water is running dry. The aquifers that took millennia to fill are bottoming out. We are removing water faster than nature can replenish it.

We are in a water crisis.

In times such as these, whether or not to allow commercial bottling of our water is a matter of life and death. Water is more valuable than oil, and yet it is being sold for next to nothing to corporations who go on to sell it at huge profit. That water is taken away from the area it was taken from, and so the water cannot go back to the aquifer to refill it.

There is no logic in selling water in this way to corporations who give nothing back, while the people who need this water to live are basically being stolen from.

The science is already clear enough on how water-taking by corporations drains the world's natural resources, and allows them to control the most valuable resource in the world, and thus control the world itself.

It boggles the mind how corporations are allowed to take away from us the very things we need to survive, for virtually free. Water, air, and control of our food. Allowing corporations to do these things is tantamount to advocating genocide. There's no logic.

Pollution of our air, poisoning of our land, stealing of our water needs to stop NOW.
