In my opinion, water taking…

In my opinion, water taking from wells or municiple water sources for resale should be illegal.
Why are we allowing multi-national companies to enrich themselves and their shareholders by taking our groundwater at rediculously low rates?
No further applications should be allowed in perpetuity.
Existing water takers should have the amount taken per period mandated and capped by the ministry.
The amount they pay per unit should be set at a rate that is far more representative of the value of this precious resource.

Ontario and the rest of Canada should spend more time and resources ensuring that all of our Indigenous communities get full access to fresh clean water.
