As residents of Ontario, we all have the right to free, potable water in our homes. This needs to be the first priority, now and for future generations. We need to review existing permits and ban any further permits to companies to obtain water for bottling and profits. We need to ensure that the existing water tables are not negatively impacted in any way, that potable water is safeguarded for the future, that our resources and extraction methods are sustainable.
Our future requires all of us to adhere to sustainable use of our resources. Bottling water is not.
