Bottled water is an unnecessary, expensive and unregulated commercial convenience, NOT an antidote to municipally treated water. Its disposable plastic containers are a major non-biodegradable feature of landfill and marine water sites. Its freshwater sourcing is not adequately regulated or valued by its commercial providers.
