Seriously? I cannot believe that this issue is even being considered. This project has been underway for 10 years and the whim of an uneducated and ill informed wannabe despot can shut it down? We must respond to the climate crisis. It's not about having bad weather. It's about being extinct along with every other species we've damn near decimated. I'm stunned that trying to avert that is something that has to be won.
In light of our crisis, mentioning that this is going to cost the taxpayer over a $100 million in cancellation and clean up costs seems unimportant.
