The way this cancellation was handled was a disgrace. It makes Ontario look beyond incompetent on the international business stage. It has alienated an international business partner, a company that operated in good faith and adhered to regulation for 10 years. This decision is blatantly political and short-sighted to say the least. It is incomprehensible how any government in 2018 would be closing alternative and green energy projects. We should be planning for the future, which doesn’t include fossil fuels. Your shortsighted kowtowing to fossil fuel energy companies is going to cost this province hundreds of times over for the next generation. Your “open for business” slogan is a total joke.
