I am opposed to the proposal…

I am opposed to the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard (Ontario Place). Why would you degrade water quality in this way, when the City of Toronto (and Metro Toronto before it) has spent decades separating its sanitary and storm sewers? The sewer discharge will be hazardous to humans and wildlife alike. This proposal to benefit private sector initiatives is not in the public interest and threatens the stability of the lake ecosystem in a time of severe biodiversity loss. Please deny this permit.
