Why is the choice being made…

Why is the choice being made to rush this project through at every expense and disadvantage to the people of Toronto? How is it ok to reverse progress on all the work being done by Toronto City council to improve the water quality by separating efficient and storm water? Why does Thermae’s timeline take precedent over the people who actually live in this city? Are we expected to swallow this literal effluent because Doug Ford wants us to? The province has also not held any consultations about this work with the general public.

This proposal to benefit private sector initiatives, is not in the public interest and threatens the stability of the lake ecosystem in a time of severe biodiversity loss. Please deny this permit.
