The people of Ontario do not want the Therme plan chosen for the Ontario Place site. We don't like how it was pushed through, continues to be rushed, the sneaky way it was implemented and how construction started without proper assessments or listening to our protests. We do not like our tax payer dollars spent this way, nor do we want our publicly owned land leased for 95 years to a foreign company when only a very small percentage of Ontarians who might choose or have the means to use the spa facility can use it. Ontarians are furious over the disregard for the environment throughout the entire process from banning the public from using the space, to Destroying established ecosystems, hundreds of mature trees, and all without the blessing of the people who use it and generally all Ontarians.

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for Infrastructure Ontario. This application, is for the approval of interim combined sewer overflows to be constructed at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard West, in the City of Toronto. The storm water will discharge into Lake Ontario. Tens of millions of taxpayer dollars are once again being wasted to prioritize a private company over the wellbeing of the public and the environment. We DO NOT WANT THIS.
