Yet another example of how poorly thought through this lease and plan at Ontario Place has been.

The overall plan is terrible and manages to ruin two Toronto landmarks (Ontario Place and the Science Crntre) at once. The highly questionable way the lease was secured with Therme, and the extremely high costs it foists on taxpayers in one scenario or another are evidence of gross incompetence, to say nothing of ethical lapses in the way the competition was managed. Now this? The combined sewer stopgap measure (or should I say gocrap measure), literally messing up the city’s own efforts without consultation? The irony of it all with this site intended to be a place to unite Ontarians with their lakefront. For shame.

For gods sake, please stop inventing new ways to mess up this plan.
